Tyler was hired as the new executive director of the chamber and started the first week of September 2023.
Tyler moved to Hinton in 2004 and has owned or operated local businesses since 2005, most notably with The Hinton Voice.
He has served on the chamber board of directors on three different occasions, served one term on Town council and spent four years on the Community Futures West Yellowhead board of directors.
He volunteered more than 10 years as chairperson of the Hinton United Way, as well as multiple years as co-organizer of events like the Terry Fox Run and the Mayor’s Golf Tournament.
