In the past years, the Chamber has been dominated by business owners focused on making Hinton a business-friendly community. This Board understands how challenging it is to run a business and has maintained a consultative relationship with the Town of Hinton. This has allowed our business community a voice in municipal decision-making as we have successfully implemented an Offsite Levy Bylaw to really clarify development risk and have had input on the new Land-Use Bylaw to ensure a forward-looking law.

I moved to Hinton in 2021 and I am the Store Manager at Freson Bros on the hill. Being new to town, I wanted to get more involved in my community and understand the local business landscape. Being a board member is important to me as it allows me to interact with other business leaders and share insights into ways of helping the small business community.

I am a lifelong Hintonite who joined Royal Bank in 2012. Over my nearly 10 years of working at RBC I have had the pleasure of experiencing several different roles and job opportunities within the company, and have most recently become the Branch Manager here in Hinton. My biggest passion over the years has been helping people grow their financial literacy.
